| I am new to this site. Why is it necessary that the moderator approve messages prior to posting? Can we be sure that all sides are getting their comments approved? |

When the site first went active, no approvals were required. Then, as the site grew in volume, Google and other search engines picked it up and third parties who were more interested in internet porn and drugs than Goodpasture started to post links to their trash. The approval system was put in place so that one of 4 administrators would have to see each post to protect the site's visitors from this trash.
As a general rule, the censorship policy is that we do not censor posts except for third party abuse (porn, drugs, etc.); posts that are duplicates; posts that attack other students by name; and a few limited other circumstances of abuse. Any posts other than porn that are disallowed are discussed by at least 2 administrators. They are also stored temporarily so that we can contact, if possible, the poster (which is one reason we encourage posters to register).
We try to approve posts within 30 minutes during the day and as soon as reasonably possible outside of normal hours.
You can ask others and I think you will find that the censorship is minimal and usually would be an admin edit rather than an entire disapproval. |

I sent several post with none being posted. why?
I have mostly positive things to say. Was it rejected because it was positive? |

We have had one poster who has posted as many as 2 and 3 duplicates over the last week (apparently not realizing the approval process). The duplicates, once confirmed as duplicates, have been had the first approved and the second and third posts deleted.
We have deleted a few posts with links to explicit pornographic posts over the last few weeks.
Other than that, I am unaware of any posts that have not been approved for viewing other than one by a guest that brought up an old issue involving the school's perceived "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
Posting as a "guest" however makes it harder for us to search and respond to inquiries such as yours.
I was however able to confirm that the foregoing post is the only post to have been submitted from the IP address that you used for that particular post. Based on that, it does not appear that you have ever posted on this site before. |

You only have to look at some of the mud thrown at John to know that everything goes through.
Only the Sturdivant crowd believes that it is "anti" Goodpasture. |
